SPACES WHILE YOU SLEEP : LETTERPRESS BOOK

Using the letterpress printing method is such a beautiful combination of personal style and expression and classical typographic history. I am so honored that I had the ability to take such a wonderful class which allowed me to practice my thesis in such a visually accurate way. This particular book focuses on the unstructured way in which dreams are interpreted. The pages of the book are bound in such a way that the images and text mixes and matches. This is so the viewer can make their own understanding of the texts and images. The structure I chose for this book resembles the indefinite process of elucidating dream spaces. The images for this book were hand drawn, transferred into the computer, digitally manipulated, laser-cut into plexiglass, and letterpress printed.
